About Us
Logan Physio is a clinic that has been operating in the Logan area since 1982 when the previous owner Celia Reed, an esteemed physio established the clinic. Sandy and Justine purchased the clinic, then known as Marsden Physiotherapy Clinic, from Celia in 2005. Sandy and Justine changed the name from Marsden Physiotherapy Clinic to Physiotherapy Worx in 2005 and then in 2017 we changed the name to Logan Physiotherapy, with a mission to be the trusted voice of healthcare in the Logan area.
In 2005 Justine and Sandy returned from working in London in private physiotherapy clinics and were ready to create a space to deliver a premium service in the Gold Coast-Brisbane corridor. Celia was looking to retire at this stage and so Justine and Sandy purchased the existing clinic. Sandy and Justine were driven to both educate and facilitate a space where the Logan community were able to THRIVE. We want our clients to fulfill their potential unencumbered by any unnecessary limitations.
Sandy is a Masters qualified physio and Justine also has a post-graduate certificate in Pain Management, making them 2 of the most qualified physios in the Logan area. They have been working as physios for close on 30 years each, and have committed to rigorous continuing education ensuring that clients get the benefit of years of experience and the most up-to-date interventions available. They both have the experience of working in both the public hospital and private practice sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom, giving them a broader outlook and experience base than most physios.
With our broad life and work experience and after working in the Logan area for close on 20 years now, we truly understand our clients and what is causing or contributing to their pain. We understand that a client is not just a ‘sprained ankle’ or a ‘back pain’, but also a mother, a breadwinner, a potential sporting superstar. We understand that someone’s pain or problem presents as part of a bigger picture and there may be other stressors in a client’s life that require addressing. We are not afraid to push for better outcomes for our clients with employers, insurers and other health professionals, who we liaise with keenly on a daily basis. We will go the extra mile for our clients every time.
We love to ensure we do everything possible to get you to THRIVE in life, to reach your full potential to fulfill those goals you have set. We love that we get to spend a significant amount of time with you weekly, getting to really know you and what’s important to you and what makes you tick. We love that Logan Physio is a relaxed, nurturing environment to work in and that we provide a family-friendly environment for our clients to THRIVE. We love that we have a great space to work in where we can incorporate a lot of active rehabilitation which is so important to what we do. Ultimately we love working together as a team and we love working with YOU.

EXCELLENT Based on 215 reviews Posted on Isabelle Kaya HuntTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Logan physio was great for my back rehab. Sandy is very experienced and great at finding the deeper issues that lead to my injury. I gained a lot of knowledge on how to move my body in the right ways - to improve my back injury and to prevent myself from hurting it in the future. I would highly recommend this Physio to anyone.Posted on Alannah Taylor-PowellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been coming here for 3 months and these wonderful people that have been by my side this whole time have been the most supportive people ever. Justine, Sandy, Ash and Marcus are all super friendly and welcoming! The knowledge they have given me for my diagnosis has been super helpful, also the banter is great and the work outs aren't so nerve racking! Appreciate you all for helping me with my recovery ❤️Posted on EllieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I attended this clinic under a Care Plan for lower back pain after seeing many positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. My appointment was with Sandy Clark. For almost the entire one-hour session, there was very little focus on my actual medical issue. Instead, I was subjected to long, irrelevant conversations about his personal ski trip to Japan. He repeatedly diverted the session back to his travel stories rather than assessing or treating my condition. In addition, he asked me a series of very personal and inappropriate questions that had nothing to do with physiotherapy or my care: questions about my country, my partner’s financial status, whether my partner treats me well, my child’s age and name, and other personal details. Despite my visible discomfort and lack of engagement, these questions continued. The situation became even more uncomfortable when he insisted on asking what my name would be “in my country,” and when I hesitated, he laughed and kept pressing. He then handed me a pen and persistently asked me to write my name in my native language, which I felt pressured to do just to move the session along. During the physical treatment, he asked if he could unclip my bra for a shoulder massage, which I consented to as it seemed clinically reasonable. However, after the massage, he made a joking comment about not knowing whether he had clipped my bra back correctly and laughed about it. At that point, I genuinely felt uncomfortable and objectified rather than treated as a patient. The actual physiotherapy consisted of about 10 minutes of massage and roughly 15 minutes of showing me three basic stretches, followed by a printed sheet. That was the extent of the clinical care provided in a one-hour appointment. For clarity, the entire session was recorded. This was not done secretly or maliciously — my partner had asked me in advance to record the appointment so he could understand the explanation for my back pain. After listening to the recording, my partner was extremely upset and angry, and also felt that the behaviour during the session was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Overall, I felt that my time and money were wasted, my boundaries were not respected, and the session lacked professionalism and appropriate patient focus. I left feeling upset and disrespected, rather than supported or treated for my back pain. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking professional, patient-centred physiotherapy care.Posted on SalmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
